Robin Gurl's Tomodachi Life (2026) Guide

I’ve been seeing a lot of videos on tiktok, instagram and tumblr about this game and after playing it (for way too many hours XD), I thought it would be good to make a guide. This guide won’t be for the players who want an aethestic island, who don’t want to have fun with their mii’s, who are only in to make their miis look a certain way or act a certain way. This guide is for a normal game player who just wants to have fun and love their miis.

This game involves you creating your own island and creating the people to live there. They are called Mii’s and you have complete control on how they are made and designed within the confines of their character maker. I will say the options they give you are INSANE and I’m still learning how to create my characters. I’ve gone back several times to update/edit my mii when I see a new technique. 

On this island and in your world, you are their god and you help your characters create friendships, relationships, romantic preferences, and maybe even marriage to having a child. These Mii’s can fight, pout, cry, be happy, swoon over other mii’s and more. A lot of people joke its like babysitting kids and sometimes that isn’t that far off. 

A warning to Animal Crossing Players who time travel and like to use glitch cheats – the developers in this game have given consequences to those who try and time travel on their Switch. While I am extremely pleased and satisfied that developers are finally stopping people from cheating at these games, I know people will play how they want. I advise you to check out guides on how not to mess up your Tomodachi Life when time traveling in ACNH.

I will not be writing such guide because I don’t like the cheating for ACNH either.
